Website Design · South West WA
The South West's strategy-led web design studio.
BYKP builds websites for founder-led businesses across the South West — Dunsborough, Busselton, Margaret River, Bunbury and beyond. The thinking first, then a Squarespace or Shopify build, then the channels that make it earn its keep. One person, whole system.
★★★★★ 5.0 on Google · trusted by WA founders
BYKP runs from Dunsborough, and most of the businesses I've built for are within an hour of my desk. Wineries, clinics, builders, gift stores, jewellers — businesses whose customers are locals and visitors at once, whose year moves with the season, and whose reputation was earned long before it was ever online.
That's not context you explain to your web designer. It's context I already have. Every engagement still starts the same way — understanding who actually buys from you, what they're searching for, and what the website needs to do commercially — but here, the research starts from knowing the ground.
Web design, from within the region
Built here, for businesses that are built here.
Proof, not promises
Built for businesses you already know.
Down South Physio
HEALTHCARE · DUNSBOROUGH
A clinic that had outgrown its own website. A guided pathway that lands every patient with the right physio.
the LemonTree
E-COMMERCE · DUNSBOROUGH
A much-loved gift store nobody could find online. A Shopify rebuild around the way people actually shop: for gifts.
Phil Kelleher Homes
CUSTOM HOME BUILDING · SOUTH WEST
25 years of award-winning homes, almost none of it visible online. A portfolio built to attract the right enquiries, not the most.
Cullen Wines
WINE & HOSPITALITY · WILYABRUP, MARGARET RIVER
One of Margaret River's founding wineries, farming biodynamically for decades, selling online like everyone else. A store rebuilt to carry the legacy.
One person, the whole way through
No account managers, no handoffs, no junior designer you've never met. The person who researches your market writes the strategy, builds the site, and answers the phone two years later.
Who you'll actually work with
Why local businesses don't need to look to Perth.
Built to produce, not just to look right
Every site has a commercial job. Results are measured against the strategy and published when the data has matured — not before.
A relationship, not a transaction
Most of my clients are ongoing ones. The site going live is the starting position, and the businesses I work with tend to stay.
Fair questions, straight answers.
The things Perth businesses usually want to know before booking a call.
-
No — I work with founder-led businesses across WA and beyond, and a Perth client gets exactly the same process. But home is here, most of my work is here, and the coffee meetings are real.
-
Easily. I'm based in Dunsborough, so if you're anywhere between Busselton and Margaret River, a face-to-face is a short drive, not a scheduled video call. Plenty of my client relationships run on a mix of both.
-
It depends on what the strategy calls for, and I'd be guessing if I quoted before understanding your business. Projects are scoped properly after a first conversation, and I'll tell you honestly if what you need is smaller than what you're asking for.
-
Most projects run six to ten weeks from strategy to launch, depending on scope. You'll have a clear timeline before anything starts.
-
Training and handover are part of every build, so the site is yours to run. Most clients keep working with me after launch on SEO, updates and the ongoing work that makes a website compound. That's by choice, not contract — and being local makes the ongoing part easy.
Let's talk
The thinking, the website, and everything after it. Just down the road.
A relaxed conversation about your business and whether this process is the right way to get where you're going. No pitch deck, no pressure.
30 minutes, with the person who'd do the work.
