Shopify · Mandurah
Website design for Mandurah businesses that have outgrown their site.
Squarespace and Shopify websites for founder-led businesses in Mandurah and the Peel region. I do the strategy, build the site, and keep it working after launch, from Dunsborough, an hour and a half down the road.

Built for
Founder-led businesses, services and stores.
ENGAGEMENTS
Strategy-led, most ongoing
01 The site
Web design for Mandurah businesses starts with the strategy. Not the template.
A lot of sites were set up fast and never revisited. The template decided the structure, the pages went wherever they fit, and the enquiry form is whatever came out of the box. I build the other way round. The Understand phase tells me who you're trying to reach and what they need to see before they get in touch, and the site is built to match that.
How it's structured
Site map and navigation built around how people decide
Service or product architecture, depending on what you sell
Page templates your team can follow
Booking, enquiry and checkout flows
How it's found
Keyword-led service and location pages
Titles, metadata and structured data
Google Business Profile aligned with the site
Search Console and sitemap set up at launch
How it converts
Trust signals: reviews, results, real photos
Enquiry and booking paths that don't hide
Email capture where it earns its place
Tracking that's ready for Google Ads and Meta
02 The Proof
Different businesses, different problems. The same standard, an hour and a half up the road.
Physios, builders, wineries, gift stores. Founder-led businesses across the South West and beyond, most of them still working with me years after launch. Two of them below, chosen because Mandurah has a lot of businesses like them.
Phil Kelleher Homes
CUSTOM HOME BUILDING · STRATEGY + BUILD + ONGOING
25 years of award-winning homes, almost none of it visible online. A portfolio built to attract the right enquiries, not the most.
Down South Physio
HEALTHCARE · STRATEGY+ REBUILD + ONGOING
A clinic that had outgrown its own website. A guided pathway that lands every patient with the right physio.
03 Up the road
Do you need a web designer in Mandurah? You need one who'll still answer the phone two years later.
I'm based in Dunsborough, about an hour and a half from Mandurah. That's close enough for the Understand workshop to happen across a table, and it's closer than most Perth agencies will ever be in person. Here's how each phase runs when you're up the road rather than down it.
01 Understand
The strategy workshop happens in person if you want it to, or over video if you'd rather. Your analytics, Search Console and booking or sales data come through as access, not screenshots, so I'm working from what your business is actually doing.
02 Build
The site is built in a browser either way. You get a live staging link from the first week, review calls at each decision point, and revisions on the actual site rather than on a mockup. Training is recorded, so your team can watch it twice.
03 Grow
After launch the relationship settles into a rhythm: a monthly call where the data sets the agenda, and the person who built the site is the one making the changes. Most of my clients are a similar distance away and it has never been the thing that mattered.
A two-minute gut check
Where does a new customer usually hear about you first?
One more thing
Want a proper read on your answers?
Pop your email in and I'll send a short, honest read on what your answers suggest. One email, no sequence.
That didn't send. Check the email address and try again.
Here's the thing
Those four questions?
That's almost word for word how a real Understand session starts. Before a single page gets designed.
Start a real one →This works brilliantly for some businesses.
And not for others.
It tends to fit when…
The business is founder-led, established, and the website is being asked to do more than it was built for.
The current site was set up fast, on a template or by whoever was available, and the business has outgrown it.
You want one accountable person across the strategy, the build and what comes after.
You'd rather be found by the right customers than by the most.
You'll give me your data, your time in the Understand phase, and a straight answer when I ask for one.
It tends not to when…
The business is brand new and the offer is still being tested. Not because the work doesn't matter, but because strategy needs something to work from.
The website is a box to tick, not a channel you expect to work.
It needs to be live by Friday.
Price is the main thing you're choosing on.
The brief is already locked and the job is just to build it.
The things Mandurah Businesses usually want to know. Answered straight.

No. I'm based in Dunsborough, about an hour and a half away, and I work with founder-led businesses across the South West and Perth. The strategy workshop can happen across a table in Mandurah or over video, the build happens in a browser, and revisions are made on a live staging link. Distance has never been the thing that decided whether a project worked.
-
It depends on what the business needs, and I'd rather give you a real number than a hopeful one. The number of pages and services, whether there's a store or a booking system behind it, and how much of the strategy and content exists already are what move the cost. The Understand phase is where those get answered, so you get a fixed figure at the end of it and it doesn't move after that. If budget is the first question, ask it on the call and I'll give you a straight answer.
-
I'm certified on both, so this is a real answer rather than a sales one. If products are the business, it's Shopify. If the site's job is to explain what you do and get the right people to enquire or book, it's Squarespace, and it can still sell a small range. The Understand phase settles it, and I'll tell you if you're on the wrong platform for what you're trying to do.
-
Yes, and it's the part of a rebuild most people don't think about until it's gone. Every page that currently ranks is mapped before anything is built, existing URLs are kept or redirected, and the new site launches with titles, metadata and Search Console already in place. If your current site is bringing in enquiries from search, a rebuild should improve that, not reset it.
-
Most Shopify projects run 4 to 12 weeks from the strategy workshop to launch. The Understand phase takes the first 2 weeks and sets the plan. The build follows, with review points along the way rather than one big reveal at the end. Catalogue size and how quickly content and product data arrive are what move the timeline most.
-
Every site is handed over with recorded training so your team can manage pages and content without me, and 30 days of post-launch support is included. After that, most clients keep working with me on the Grow phase: the channels that send people to the site, the data that says what to change, and the changes themselves. That part is optional and it's a relationship, not a subscription.
Let's talk
The thinking, the website, and everything after it. All in one place.
A relaxed conversation about your business, where the enquiries are coming from, and whether I'm the right fit. No pitch deck.
