Shopify and ecommerce website design for Perth businesses
Shopify stores for Perth businesses whose current site can't keep up with the orders. I do the strategy, build the store, and keep it working after launch.

ENGAGEMENTS
Strategy-led, most ongoing
01 The store
Shopify web design for Perth stores starts with the products. Not the theme.
A lot of stores were set up fast and never revisited. The theme decided the structure, the products went wherever they fit, and the checkout is whatever came out of the box. I build the other way round. The Understand phase tells me what your customers are looking for and how they buy, and the store is built to match that.
How it's structured
Product architecture and collection map
Navigation built around how people shop
Product listing templates your team can follow
Variants, bundles and wholesale where they earn their place
How it's found
Keyword-led collection and product pages
Titles, metadata and structured data
Site speed and Core Web Vitals
Search Console and sitemap set up at launch
How it sells
Checkout, shipping and payment configuration
Apps and integrations, only the ones that pay for themselves
Email capture and abandoned cart flows
Tracking that's ready for Google Ads and Meta
02 The Proof
Ecommerce website design for Perth,
proven from Dunsborough to Queensland.
Both Perth. Both Shopify. Both came in with a problem the previous site had been quietly making worse, and both are still working with me after launch. The case studies are written the way the work actually happened, and the numbers appear once the data has matured, not before.
Niche Medical
HEALTHCARE · STRATEGY+ STORE + ONGOING
A decades-old supplier, effectively invisible online. The rebuild, the store, and the relationship that outlasted both.
MiKi Jewellery
E-COMMERCE · STRATEGY + REBUILD + ONGOING
A national brand hiding behind a small website. A Shopify rebuild that put the designer back at the centre.
03 Three hours away
Do you need a Shopify expert in Perth? You need one who still answers the phone two years later.
I'm based in Dunsborough, three hours south of Perth. Two of the stores above are Perth businesses and neither has needed me in the room to get the work done. Here's how each phase actually runs when the client is up the highway.
01 Understand
The strategy workshop runs over video. Your Shopify, analytics and Search Console data come through as access, not screenshots, so I'm working from what your store is actually doing. If you'd rather do the workshop across a table, I travel.
02 Build
The store is built in a browser either way. You get a live staging link from the first week, review calls at each decision point, and revisions on the actual store rather than on a mockup. Training is recorded, so your team can watch it twice.
03 Grow
After launch the relationship settles into a rhythm: a monthly call where the data sets the agenda, and the person who built the store is the one making the changes. Niche Medical ran their project from Queensland.
A two-minute gut check

One more thing
Want a proper read on your answers?
Pop your email in and I'll send a short, honest read on what your answers suggest. One email, no sequence.
That didn't send. Check the email address and try again.
Here's the thing
Those four questions?
That's almost word for word how a real Understand session starts. Before a single page gets designed.
Start a real one →This works brilliantly for some businesses.
And not for others.
It tends to fit when…
The store already takes real orders every week and the business is founder-led.
The current site was set up fast, on a theme or by whoever was available, and the business has outgrown it.
You're moving to Shopify from Wix, WooCommerce or Squarespace Commerce and want it done properly, once.
You want one accountable person across the strategy, the build and what comes after.
You'll give me your data, your time in the Understand phase, and a straight answer when I ask for one.
It tends not to when…
It's a first store and the product is still being tested. Not because the work doesn't matter, but because strategy needs something to work from.
The margin depends on volume you don't have yet
It needs to be live by Friday.
Price is the main thing you're choosing on.
The brief is already locked and the job is just to build it.
The things Perth store owners usually want to know. Answered straight.

No. I'm a Shopify Partner based in Dunsborough, three hours south, and the stores I've built run from Dunsborough to Queensland without me being in the room. Strategy workshops happen over video, the build happens in a browser, and revisions are made on a live staging link. If you'd rather meet in person for the Understand phase, that can be arranged.
-
It depends on what the store needs, and I'd rather give you a real number than a hopeful one. Catalogue size, how much product architecture has to be designed from scratch, and which integrations the business runs on, like wholesale, subscriptions or a POS, are what move the cost. The Understand phase is where those get answered, so you get a fixed figure at the end of it and it doesn't move after that. If budget is the first question, ask it on the call and I'll give you a straight answer.
-
I'm certified on both, so this is a real answer rather than a sales one. If products are the business, it's Shopify: the checkout, inventory, shipping and app ecosystem are built for stores that take orders every day. Squarespace Commerce suits a service business that also sells a small range. The Understand phase settles it, and I'll tell you if you're on the wrong platform for what you're trying to do.
-
Yes. Migrations from Wix, WooCommerce and Squarespace Commerce are a regular part of the work. Products, customers and order history come across, existing URLs are redirected so you keep the search rankings you've earned, and the store is restructured during the move rather than copied across as is. Moving platforms is the best moment to fix the product architecture, so I treat it as a rebuild, not a transfer.
-
Most Shopify projects run 4 to 12 weeks from the strategy workshop to launch. The Understand phase takes the first 2 weeks and sets the plan. The build follows, with review points along the way rather than one big reveal at the end. Catalogue size and how quickly content and product data arrive are what move the timeline most.
-
Every store is handed over with recorded training so your team can manage products, orders and content without me, and 30 days of post-launch support is included. After that, most clients keep working with me on the Grow phase: the channels that send people to the store, the data that says what to change, and the changes themselves. That part is optional and it's a relationship, not a subscription.
