Website design for Perth businesses that have outgrown their site.

Squarespace and Shopify websites for founder-led businesses in Perth. I do the strategy, build the site, and keep it working after launch, from Dunsborough, three hours south and up the highway when it counts.

ENGAGEMENTS

Strategy-led, most ongoing

01‍ ‍ ‍The site

Web design for Perth businesses starts with the strategy. Not the template.

A lot of sites were set up fast and never revisited. The template decided the structure, the pages went wherever they fit, and the enquiry form is whatever came out of the box. I build the other way round. The Understand phase tells me who you're trying to reach and what they need to see before they get in touch, and the site is built to match that.

How it's structured

  • Site map and navigation built around how people decide

  • Service or product architecture, depending on what you sell

  • Page templates your team can follow

  • Booking, enquiry and checkout flows

How it's found

  • Keyword-led service and location pages

  • Titles, metadata and structured data

  • Google Business Profile aligned with the site

  • Search Console and sitemap set up at launch

How it converts

  • Trust signals: reviews, results, real photos

  • Enquiry and booking paths that don't hide

  • Email capture where it earns its place

  • Tracking that's ready for Google Ads and Meta

If products are the business, there's a dedicated page for Shopify and ecommerce website design in Perth.

02‍ ‍ ‍The Proof

Different businesses, different problems. The same standard, wherever they are.

Established, founder-led businesses that had outgrown a template and were weighing up a Perth agency before they called me. Two of them below: a founding Margaret River winery and a decades-old medical supplier on the other side of the country. Both were built the same way, and the case studies are written the way the work actually happened.

HEALTHCARE · STRATEGY+ STORE + ONGOING

A decades-old supplier, effectively invisible online. The rebuild, the store, and the relationship that outlasted both.

Cullen Wines

WINE & HOSPITALITY · STRATEGY+ REBUILD + ONGOING

One of Margaret River's founding wineries, farming biodynamically for decades, selling online like everyone else. A store rebuilt to carry the legacy.

03Three hours away

Do you need a Shopify expert in Perth? You need one who still answers the phone two years later.

I'm based in Dunsborough, three hours south of Perth. Of the two businesses above, one is in Margaret River and the other is in Queensland, and the Queensland one never needed me in the room. Here's how each phase actually runs when the client is up the highway.

01 Understand

The strategy workshop runs over video, or across a table in Perth if you'd rather; I travel for the right project. Your analytics, Search Console and booking or sales data come through as access, not screenshots, so I'm working from what your business is actually doing.

02 Build

The site is built in a browser either way. You get a live staging link from the first week, review calls at each decision point, and revisions on the actual site rather than on a mockup. Training is recorded, so your team can watch it twice.

03 Grow

After launch the relationship settles into a rhythm: a monthly call where the data sets the agenda, and the person who built the site is the one making the changes. That's the part a Perth agency hands to an account manager. Here it's the same person who built it.

Those four questions?

That's almost word for word how a real Understand session starts. Before a single page gets designed.

This works brilliantly for some businesses.
And not for others.

It tends to fit when…

  • The business is founder-led, established, and the website is being asked to do more than it was built for.

  • The current site was set up fast, on a template or by whoever was available, and the business has outgrown it.

  • You want to talk to the person doing the work, not the person selling it.

  • You'd rather be found by the right customers than by the most.

  • You'll give me your data, your time in the Understand phase, and a straight answer when I ask for one.

It tends not to when…

  • The business is brand new and the offer is still being tested. Not because the work doesn't matter, but because strategy needs something to work from.

  • You need a full agency: paid social, PR, video, a team on call. I'm one person and I'll say so.

  • It needs to be live by Friday.

  • Price is the main thing you're choosing on.

  • The brief is already locked and the job is just to build it.

The things Perth business owners usually want to know. Answered straight.

Let's talk

The thinking, the website, and everything after it. All in one place.

A relaxed conversation about your business, where the enquiries are coming from, and whether I'm the right fit. No pitch deck.
