Niche Medical is an Australian-owned company founded in 1999, specialising in diagnostic equipment for respiratory and neonatal care. They approached us to update their dated website, which lacked modern design and e-commerce functionality.
The core opportunity was to create a low-maintenance platform that better reflected their expertise, incorporated an online store for direct sales, and improved search visibility to compete with established players in the industry.
Our Approach
We started with a competitor analysis and keyword research using Semrush data, identifying opportunities in non-branded terms like spirometry equipment. The design focused on a clean, professional aesthetic with a blue-green palette to convey trust and precision, ensuring high visual hierarchy and responsive layouts.
Squarespace was selected for its reliability and ease of updates, with e-commerce integration for secure payments and automated processes. SEO was embedded through optimised site structure, meta tags, and content enhancements, prioritising user experience for healthcare professionals seeking quick access to products and resources.
How We Delivered It
Planning involved reviewing existing content and Semrush insights to define the site structure, including home, about, products, online store, news, resources, and contact pages.
We designed wireframes and mockups, then built the site on Squarespace, migrating all product details, brochures, and pages while adding 39 e-commerce listings. Revisions addressed client feedback on banners and descriptions, followed by testing for responsiveness and SEO.
The launch included setup of privacy and returns policies, with ongoing maintenance handed over for minor updates. Post-launch, we provided training to ensure seamless management.
