Grace Farm
Platform: Shopify
Copywriting: Client supplied
Grace Farm is a family-owned winery in Margaret River, producing premium wines from sustainably farmed vineyards. They approached us with an outdated Shopify website on the retired Brooklyn theme, which limited integrations and caused technical issues, alongside inefficient manual wine club processes that hindered member engagement and shipments.
The core opportunity was to modernise their digital setup, unify online sales with wine club management, and prepare for future POS integration to streamline operations and drive conversions.
Our Approach
We selected Shopify as the platform for its robust e-commerce features and scalability, choosing a winery-focused theme to align with Grace Farm's brand.
Design decisions prioritised visual hierarchy with clean navigation, mobile optimisation, and storytelling elements like video integration on the homepage to reflect the vineyard's essence.
For the wine club, we researched options like Winehub, vinCreative, and winem8, focusing on Shopify-native integrations for seamless data sync, WET tax compliance, and member portals.
UX emphasised intuitive flows for wine purchases and club sign-ups, with SEO considerations including structured product pages and redirects to preserve search rankings.
How We Delivered It
We began with planning and discovery sessions to audit the existing site and define requirements, followed by theme selection and customisation over several weeks.
The build phase involved content migration, navigation restructuring, and wine club software setup, incorporating client feedback through five revision rounds.
Testing ensured responsiveness, WET tax accuracy, and integrations, leading to a Thursday launch with minimal disruption. Post-launch, we provided handover training for in-house edits and four weeks of support to resolve any issues.
